The Rundown: Daredevil finds himself in the middle of a gang power vacuum as he hunts for a missing child.

Matt finds himself dealing with the consequences of his choices as he gives up his new life to return to being Daredevil. As he continues his investigation to find the missing child from his group home, he discovers that Fisk’s abrupt departure has left a power vacuum with the gang he created.

After learning that the detective searching for Jason has gone missing, Daredevil takes to the streets to take down two rival gangs and discovers that there is a rumor of a monster stalking the streets of Hell’s Kitchen and Jason might be a target.

The Story: Ahmed creates an interesting story in this issue, but so many elements of it didn’t connect with me given what came before. Matt dealing with his guilt is par for the course, but there was a desperation in his interaction with Elektra that felt out of character given what he and they just dealt with. I do like the gang war elements and the tease with Fisk. I also really enjoyed the mystery being created within the arc, but Matt felt off as a character.

The Art: Zagaria delivers some great art throughout the issue. It is filled with great visual moments for the character and some awesome action.
